FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Early intervention is key, don't just 'wait and see'

    We recommend you get in touch as soon as there are concerns. Our team can determine whether a child would benefit from therapy or whether the difficulties are appropriate for his or her age.

  • Kickstart Collective supports children and teenagers aged between 0-18 years who have a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to;

    • Autism Spectrum Disorders

    • ADD/ADHD

    • Developmental Delays

    • Developmental Coordination Disorders

    • Varying genetic disorders

    • Childhood Apraxia of Speech

    • Cerebral Palsy

    • Reactive attachment disorder

    • Childhood trauma

  • We don’t require a GP referral, a parent/carer/coordinator of support can request services for a client, via our website or by contacting our office.

  • We accept clients who are funded by NDIS, Chronic Disease Management Plans (via Medicare) or are privately paying. More information about fees are available to view here.

 Engaging with Kickstart Collective is as easy as 1, 2, 3

 

IDENTIFY
If a Coordinator of Supports/parent/carer identifies a developmental delay or concern, they can get in touch with our office, whereby you will be directed to complete a Service Request Form on our website

BOOKING
We will contact you to clarify any information we need from you and provide information about available appointments and any wait times.

ON-BOARDING
You'll be assigned a Kickstart team member to visit with at our Maitland office for an initial consult. Here we will cover the client's goals, tell you more about how we work together, provide you with important information about all of the relevant Kickstart policies and on-board you with a service agreement prior to moving forward with assessment.
